The Firebird Festival is Phoenixville's signature nonprofit arts tradition: each December a large wooden phoenix, built by volunteers over months of weekend work sessions, is ceremonially burned before thousands of attendees. The festival is volunteer-run, with an organizing committee and year-round needs in marketing and fundraising in addition to the September–December build season.

Festival Organizing & Build Volunteer

Join the volunteer team that makes the festival happen: build the firebird on Saturdays and Sundays from September to December, feed the build crew, and help year-round with marketing, promotion, and fundraising for the free community event.
