Schuylkill River Greenways manages the Schuylkill River National Heritage Area and the Schuylkill River Trail, the regional multi-use trail that runs through the Phoenixville area on its planned 135-mile route from Frackville to Philadelphia. The nonprofit relies on volunteers for trail maintenance, special events, environmental education, and water quality monitoring.
